Season that fish
- 4 salmon fillets
- bay seasoning
- lemon pepper
- 4 tsp. butter
- 1 small onion, sliced into rings
- 2 cups prepared rice
- cooked mixed vegetables
Preheat your grill to medium-high.
Pat your fillets dry and then season them to taste with the lemon pepper, bay seasoning, and salt. Press the seasonings into your salmon.
Butter the bottom of your salmon fillets, and throw a little butter on your onion rings, try to keep them whole if you can.
Grill the salmon and the onions, butter side up, directly over the heat for about 2 to 4 minutes. Flip once and cook for another 2 to 4 minutes.
Serve with rice and whatever veggies you have. Garnish with some snazzy and sexy sesame seeds. Take a bite of salmon with some of that grill-caramelized onion.
Sunday is a busy day in our household. There is a lot of cooking as the husband and I prepare some spectacular snackage for when the company comes over that evening. Personally I love to make something that absolutely wows them every time. It's fun. But when you're busy making something amazing, you really don't want to cook something crazy for dinner too. That's where salmon came in. I just grabbed the first protein I saw and ran with it. Yes it is safe to run with fish.
