I am really happy with how these turned out. They were a tad on the spicy side, but if you like that, you will like these. But you can also leave the Sriracha out of the recipe too.

Recently I have done several posts using Egg Roll Wrappers. You would be surprised at how versatile they really are. What interesting things have you done with egg roll wrappers? Another strange ingredient?

Grill Baked Egg Rolls

Serves: 6       Total Time: 50


  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 4 tbsp. Fire Roasted Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 large stalk of celery, sliced thinly on the diagonal
  • 2 carrots cut into matchsticks
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced
  • 1 small red pepper, sliced thin
  • handful of mushrooms, sliced thin
  • 3 cups of bean sprouts, washed
  • ¼ cup of sesame oil
  • ¼ cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 1½ tsp. Sriracha (hot sauce)
  • 1 package of egg roll wrappers
  • salt and pepper to taste


I am never buying egg rolls again, nor will I fry them! I don't have to! ...okay so if I am ordering Chinese food, yeah I will have to have an egg roll, but otherwise, I can and do make my own! You can easily make these with leftovers if you want.

These are super delicious and very easy to make too! All you need is some chicken and veggies really. And wrappers, soy sauce, okay so you need a few ingredients. They're filling too! Great as an appetizer before the main course, or serve with a spectacular salad for a whole meal!
