One Hour Maple Bourbon Ribs

One Hour Maple Bourbon Ribs

Finger Lickin' Ribs, Lickety Split

Posted on January 06, 2016
This is another recipe that happened due to a video shoot. We needed ribs for an accessory video and we had a lot of other things that needed doing that day so these ribs had to be done, and done fast. I am one who is loathe to waste food when it's unnecessary, so I had to make them not only look good but taste good too. One Hour Maple Bourbon Ribs are the result, and let me tell you, the result  is delicious. Check out this behind the scenes shot from Napoleon's Instagram account.

Steak Diane

Steak Diane

With A Twist

Posted on December 10, 2015
Steak Diane is a  decadent little meal that is supremely enjoyable. The steak is tender and flavorful, the sauce is amazing, (But anything that is made with whisky and heavy cream would be right?), and everything else on the plate just makes it that much more delightful. I actually made this because I had nothing else in the house for food. I cook a lot and need groceries a lot, it's a thing. Anyway, I just happened to have some beef tenderloin, the ends that were trimmed from the Beef Wellington Recipe, the other ingredients... not so much, but it sure was delicious.

Whisky Apple Chicken

Whisky Apple Chicken

In The Napoleon Cast Iron Skillet

Posted on July 21, 2015
On the 27th of ever July, it is National Scotch Day. To honor that I made Whisky Apple Chicken with some 15 year aged Glenlivet. Now before you freak out about the wastage of decent scotch, hear me out. It was a sample bottle and held just enough to make the recipe, and it was also not my Glenfiddich 18 or 30. I was dubious about the flavor combinations, and unsure of what to serve with this, but went with sweet potato purée which was complimented by the sweetness from the apples very nicely.
