To celebrate National Chocolate Day on October 28th, I created three savory dishes that prove Chocolate isn’t just for dessert. You can check out my Chocolate Rubbed Back Ribs and Chocolate Rubbed Steaks here. After experimenting with a few different applications of chocolate in savory food, it was decided that I had to use the real thing in a dish. Also, it’s nearly November, something warming, like a stew, was definitely needed as well. This Spicy Chili with Dark Chocolate is the strangest chili that I have ever made, though it is certainly the most delicious. If you need a warm bowl of yum on a cool day, you need to try this chili.

A few weeks back I made Glazed Duck With Spicy Fried Rice for dinner. There's something about this Asian-inspired meal that marries the delicious spice of the rice with a sweet glaze on the duck for a meal that covers all of the bases.
The rice is full of veggies so you don’t necessarily need to make more. Although the more veg the merrier! This is a very filling meal – one duck breast will feed you well.

I really enjoyed the way the green beans turned out in my recipe for Maple Glazed Duck Breasts
. Adding bacon seemed like a logical next step. And even better, I had the Peppercorn and Maple Bacon
that I recently made. Green Beans With Bacon, Butter & Maple turned out to be a fantastic side to go with Thanksgiving Dinner. Even better, this recipe is also gluten free, making it a great side dish if you have guests with dietary needs.

After making tempura battered onion rings for the Asian Tenderloin
recipe, I needed to find out what else I could tempura-ize. Vegetable Tempura On The Grill was easier than you would think and super fun to serve with dinner. We ate this with Salmon Teriyaki
for a complete meal and it was an amazing Asian themed dinner off the grill.

In honor of National Eggs Benedict Day on April 16th, I made Hollandaise Alfredo With Grilled Chicken And Vegetables to use up the remaining (GASP!) hollandaise sauce. Once you get over your shock that I could have possibly left hollandaise sauce after Benedict for breakfast, you can revel in the absolute audacity that I have put it into a cream sauce for a pasta dinner. Then you will think that I am a sheer genius. Then, you will make this and collapse into your seat from the outright amazingness of the flavor. Am I done? Hardly. You gotta try this!

Having recently discovered the joys of Panera (a sandwich restaurant chain) I've been slightly inspired to make delicious grilled sandwiches. Thing is, the weather needs to be a little bit warmer. Just a little. For my vegetarian grilling class, I decided that Grilled Vegetable Wraps in the style of a panini were in order. Like the Grilled Vegetable Quesadillas
, these wraps are stuffed to overflowing with delicious vegetables, different cheeses and super awesome Thai Chili Guacamole

I am a self proclaimed meatatarian. I won't go out of my way to eat a vegetarian meal. But I was asked to teach a class, the one rule was that it had to be vegetarian. Well, after the Wilted Kale Salad With Grilled Vegetables
, the Quinoa And Grilled Vegetable Stuffed Sweet Potatoes
, and Grilled Wraps Stuffed With Veggies And Quinoa
, we had some leftovers. These Grilled Vegetable Quesadilla With Homemade Guacamole are the result of creatively using what's left for an incredible and delicious meal.
