The Best Roasted Potatoes Ever

The Best Roasted Potatoes Ever

Make Great Grandma Proud

Posted on December 21, 2016
Nothing goes better with a family dinner than The Best Roasted Potatoes Ever, these bites of potato are at once crispy and fluffy. Imagine a caramelized crunch, seasoned to perfection, breaking away as you bite down, to reveal the fluffiest, most perfect potato on earth. We had a little time to wait before these were served and it was very hard not to sneak a few (like all of them). This is a recipe that will make Great Grandmother proud, and be handed down to your children’s children!

Ginger Crusted Turkey Breast

Ginger Crusted Turkey Breast

With Club House La Grille Teriyaki Glaze

Posted on July 20, 2016
I have been craving Asian cuisine lately. A lot. I pulled out a turkey breast for dinner on the particular evening that this recipe was created, but didn’t overly feel like roasting it and making gravy. That’s when I decided to make Ginger Crusted Turkey Breast With Club House La Grille Teriyaki Glaze. Imagine crispy-skinned turkey breast, almost breaded with ginger and garlic, red pepper flakes, and a little clove. Then, when it’s nearly done, brushing on a lacquer of sweet teriyaki glaze. Serve this with rice and your favorite seasonal veggies for a meal that doesn’t require a major holiday to eat turkey.

Crispy One Pan Chicken

Crispy One Pan Chicken

Marinated in Garlicky Greek Yogurt

Posted on February 25, 2016
Crispy One Pan Chicken Marinated in Garlicky Greek Yogurt is what happens when you go to make butter chicken on the grill and realize that you are totally out of any sort of curry. Yep. PRO TIP: Check for ingredients before you start cooking. Needless to say, I had to get creative with dinner after that. What came of that creativity turned out to be quite delicious, and very garlicky.

Grilled Pork Belly

Grilled Pork Belly

with Maple & Chinese Five Spice

Posted on February 19, 2016
My husband and I were in the fancy grocery store one night. You know the kind with the butcher and baker built in; this one even has a dry aging cabinet. That’s not what caught my attention that evening. No. It was the big slab of pork belly that was calling my name. Sure, I could do what we always do and smoke up some amazing bacon, but not this time. This time we made Grilled Pork Belly with Maple & Chinese Five Spice and it was like magic on a plate!

Crispy Heirloom Potatoes

Crispy Heirloom Potatoes

With Thyme & Chives

Posted on October 27, 2015
Crispy Heirloom Potatoes are crunchy on the outside and almost creamy, and definitely fluffy on the inside. If you're a lover of all things potato, then these are definitely worth a try. They went perfectly with my Rustic Slow Roast Beef, but will make an awesome side dish to just about any meal you make.

Crispy Potato Galette

Crispy Potato Galette

Your Potatoes Will Never Be The Same

Posted on April 07, 2015
Crispy Potato Galette is like crunchy potato heaven. A delicious pie of crispy potatoes. It's like nothing I have ever had. And I think this may be the only way I prepare potatoes forevermore. Can you tell I enjoyed it? Are you sure? Yes, I thought that it was strange that this recipe is named like a razor, but the only thing this recipe is cutting is your preconceptions of what a potato side dish could be. I took it a little easy on the flavors, opting for salt and pepper and a little fresh rosemary basically, and what we got in return was pure awesome. Go ahead, try this for yourself! Right now! I mean it! I say that a lot don't I? What can I say? I love food.

Grilled Duck Breast Curry

Grilled Duck Breast Curry

Crispy Skin, Medium Rare, Spicy Curry Veggies

Posted on November 12, 2014

I have been meaning to try Curry for a long time. A "proper" curry, I say proper in quotation marks, because I am sure that some legitimate, professional, curry chef is rolling their eyes and shaking their head at me right now... But anyway. A friend of mine was always making curry and suggested I try it. I finally got around to it. So rich and creamy, slightly spicy and marvellously tasty. I ended up making Grilled Duck Breast Curry 3 nights in a row, and having the leftovers for lunch at work every day.
