Horseradish Potato Salad

Horseradish Potato Salad

Perfect potato salad with a kick

Posted on May 10, 2016
Horseradish Potato Salad is the perfect creamy potato salad with one heck of a kick. Craving potato salad one evening, I found that I didn't have all of the proper ingredients for traditional potato salad. I substituted cabbage for celery, but was running out of mayonnaise. Since I had some horseradish mayonnaise kicking about, I thought “why not?”. Turns out that it was the right decision indeed. You have to be careful when adding horseradish to things. It will clear your sinuses. If you love hot stuff, kick things up a notch with extra horseradish. Pair this side dish with sweet and sticky ribs or wings, and you will have the quintessential barbecue meal. Perfect for #BarbecueMonth.

Tasty Taco Pizza

Tasty Taco Pizza

On the Napoleon Pizza Stone

Posted on April 26, 2016

Tasty Taco Pizza is so delicious. Like "how did I never think of doing this before," delicious. Or "I am making this again tomorrow night for dinner" kind of delicious.

Need I go on?

So I was toodling around the internet and was reading an article somewhere when one of those sidebar video ads starts blaring. It’s a cooking segment and they’re talking about Garth Brooks and taco pizza. I think they said that he invented it. Anyway, it was just a light bulb moment. I saw what the end product looked like and knew I just had to make something that amazing right away. As an added bonus, it’s Cinco De Mayo soon, and you can celebrate with some Mexican-inspired Tasty Taco Pizza too!

Steak Fajitas

Steak Fajitas

On The Napoleon Cast Iron Skillet, with Club House La Grille Roasted Garlic & Peppers Rub

Posted on April 26, 2016

Marinated steak served on a sizzling bed of fresh veggies, cradled in cheese, and wrapped in a delicious blanket of flour tortilla goodness. What I am describing is a household staple. What I am describing is Steak Fajitas On The Napoleon Cast Iron Skillet, with Club House La Grille Roasted Garlic & Peppers Wet Rub. It's a mouthful to read and trust me it's a mouthful to type; but completely worth it in both cases because you will love it when you taste a mouthful! Easily make this delicious dinner on a Rogue® Gas Grill, add some cervezas and you have a pairing that's as delicious as queso and jalapeños.

Stone Baked, Layered Enchilada

Stone Baked, Layered Enchilada

On Napoleon’s Pizza Stone

Posted on April 26, 2016
Making Mexican style takeout food to celebrate Cinco De Mayo is fun and flavorful. Utilizing spices in unique ways makes for some interesting meals. Instead of making Enchiladas, I wanted something that would be a little more interesting when cut into. This Stone Baked, Layered Enchilada turned out to be crunchy, tangy, and spicy. Seeing the layers and tasting the flavors when we ate it was about as fun as making it. Think of this Layered Enchilada recipe like a savory Mexican birthday cake. How many layers high can you go?

Grill Roasted Tomato Sauce

Grill Roasted Tomato Sauce

With Roasted Veggies

Posted on April 21, 2016
Homemade spaghetti sauce is the ultimate comfort food in my home. Both my mother and father have mastered the marinara, and each have their own unique way of making it. Funnily enough mom is of Irish descent, and father is English/French Canadian - how this Italian food staple became a fixture on the dinner table I will never know. What I do know is that it’s my favorite comfort food. I love to make gigantic batches and freeze it for later. This Grill Roasted Tomato Sauce is a grill-tastic vegetarian version of my childhood favorite and a great way to sneak those veggies in to a meal.

Steakhouse Top Sirloin Roast

Steakhouse Top Sirloin Roast

Done to perfection

Posted on April 21, 2016
Steakhouse Top Sirloin Roast is a supremely simple dinner to make. With only a few ingredients, and a set and forget style of grilling, it frees you up to do more important things while you’re waiting. I had this beautiful roast, moderately expensive cut, well marbled, but ultimately I was unsure what I wanted to do with it. Thank goodness I happened to have a bevy of La Grille Seasonings and Rubs for just this occasion! What could have been an ingredient leaden recipe became something simple and just as flavorful. The trick was to grill it to perfection.
