That's when Chicken Tikka popped out at me. I glanced at the ingredients and ran to the kitchen. What happened next was mouthwatering magic.

On the 27th of ever July, it is National Scotch Day. To honor that I made Whisky Apple Chicken with some 15 year aged Glenlivet. Now before you freak out about the wastage of decent scotch, hear me out. It was a sample bottle and held just enough to make the recipe, and it was also not my Glenfiddich 18 or 30. I was dubious about the flavor combinations, and unsure of what to serve with this, but went with sweet potato purée which was complimented by the sweetness from the apples very nicely.

National Ice Cream Day is pretty awesome and fell perfectly on some of the hottest days of the year. And what better way to cool your jets with this easy, homemade, and minty-fresh, Mint Ice Cream With Cookies And Chocolate Swirl. Also, as it's my Husband's favorite flavor, I couldn't resist surprising him with it. The results of this experiment in ice-cream-y goodness went swimmingly and I will definitely be making this again.

Leftovers are a glorious thing. They allow you to take bits of your favorite food and turn them into something else, something that can be amazing, or a disaster. This Butter Chicken Pizza is one of those cases where amazing happened. I made Butter Chicken for the grill and wound up with a little left over. Not enough for a full meal or even a work lunch, but enough that I didn't want to just waste it. So the following night I made Quick Pizza Dough and fired up the grill. Added a little extra pizza sauce to the leftover butter sauce and voilà! Butter Chicken Pizza.

Honey Garlic Sausage Stuffed Pork Chops With Cattle BoyZ Chipotle Maple Bacon Sauce, not only is it a very delicious mouthfull, it's also hard to say three times fast. (I totally dare you) 

So I asked myself, what would make these boring old pork chops taste even better. Three things came to mind. Sweet flavors like maple and apple, garlic, and more pork! So I decided to go with all three, 'cause how could that possibly go wrong? I can tell you now that it really didn't. And the best part about this recipe? Unless you have a gaggle of pork chops, (or would it be a herd?), you are going to have leftover sausage to make meatballs!

After making the Sausage Stuffed Pork Chops, I had extra ground pork left, so I decided to make some Maple Garlic Sausage Meatballs. The husband loves taking meatballs with BBQ sauce to work for a fast and easy lunch, so making some homemade ones seemed like the next logical step. These meatballs have of all of the flavor, a bit of sweet, garlic and finished off with a swift kick in the tongue with spice. Try these to jazz up your next meatball sub, or skewer them with your favorite veggies for kebab night. Any way you eat them, you will have good times.

It's strawberry season. I guess that's my favorite holiday. YES, it should be a holiday. And there should be a holiday dedicated to bacon, and one for cheesecake too. But I digress. These Strawberry Quesadillas With Cheesecake Ice Cream are insane. And by insane, we have blow-your-mind, melt your brain, oh my gosh that's delicious, and what the heck was she thinking all wrapped up in a delicious tortilla, then tossed on the grill with fresh chocolate STUFF (somewhere between a sauce, and a ganache and a chocolate shell), and all of the strawberries. Oh yeah, then we topped it with HOMEMADE cheesecake ice cream.

Three Cheese Grilled Cheese With Roasted Red Peppers, Bacon & Onion happened by accident. Yep. The cheese just landed like that and layered into a perfect sandwich with the roasted peppers. Okay, not really. But I was standing in the kitchen wondering what the heck I was going to grill, considering I forgot to pull out some meat before going to the gym that morning. My eyes alighted on a sourdough loaf lounging there on the counter, beckoning me to just slice it and eat it right then and there. And I thought to myself that would make some pretty darn good grilled cheese. So I opened the refrigerator, and noticed that, not only did I have some cheddar, the best cheese ever, but I had goat cheese and Monterey Jack too. Rummaging further, looking for the butter, I saw peppers and an onion, lazily sitting there, being all good for nothing. Actually the pepper was pointing at the bacon, hoping not to be noticed itself I guess. So bacon joined the growing ingredients list too. Finally I had it. Three Cheese Grilled Cheese With Roasted Red Peppers, Bacon & Onion.
