The lamb turned out beautifully and dinner was a delight. Lamb is a very flavourful meat with a consistency similar to beef. It’s something I definitely want to eat more of. Next time, though? I want to use the rotisserie to cook it!

This was a sensational gourmet meal served on weeknight time. I accidentally over-simmered the Reduction and as it cooled, it became quite solid. But fortunately I got it onto the steak and eaten up before then, it was just a mess in the pot that soaked out easily. I really enjoyed dipping the vegetables in the Reduction and steak-juice to liven them up. What gourmet meals to you make on a weeknight?

I am really happy with how these turned out. They were a tad on the spicy side, but if you like that, you will like these. But you can also leave the Sriracha out of the recipe too.

Recently I have done several posts using Egg Roll Wrappers. You would be surprised at how versatile they really are. What interesting things have you done with egg roll wrappers? Another strange ingredient?

If you’re trying to cut the carbs, this meal is fantastic and filling, you don’t really need bread or rice or potatoes with it. But I tells ya, nothing beats eating this with a thick slice of fresh bread and butter.

Make sure you get the square egg roll wrappers and not the round wonton/dumpling wrappers, however, they would also be VERY tasty. Also. Let these cool for a little while before serving them. They just came out of a 400°F grill, they’re really really hot!

These Pulled Pork Egg Rolls are completely filling! Three each and we were stuffed. So if you’re serving them as an appetizer, be sure that you don’t give your guests too many to eat, or the main course will be too much food, if there is such a thing.

Okay so these burgers are super freezer friendly. They would make a great make-ahead meal or something you can give as a gift instead of a casserole. They are super delicious and full of flavour, easy to make variations of if you’re doing a theme, and just all around handy to have.  I’m actually craving one right now as I type this!

This recipe is absolutely delicious. It is a rare thing to be able to get good lamb, and you have to cook it just right or it’s so not worth it. After slicing, if you’re a little worried about the colour, even if your meat thermometer is telling you it is good, feel free to cook the sliced lamb for another minute each side on the hot side of the grill.

I should also warn to stand back. Once served, you may as well be in a shark tank! Everyone will want one, there may even be fights over them. These are THAT good! Also.. keep one hidden for yourself too, just to make sure you get some.

This is really tasty and you get your noodle salad feeling without the actual noodles themselves. Great for a vegetarian meal, and very satisfying. But you can also add grilled chicken to this, or pork, or beef to… well beef it up and give you a complete meal.
