Using your grill’s rotisserie is a simple way to get an extravagant meal without running the oven and spending hours in the kitchen. This method of cooking also allows you to cook quickly and easily for crowds of people. You can do up to 5 chickens at once, or even some chickens, pork roast and a leg of lamb. Whatever you want. Rotissing also leaves your grids open for grilling other things for your meal while the meat is cooking.

Looks great. What lid temperature do you try to maintain with the rotiserie burner? Would love to serve rotiserie chicken to guests, but always default to beer can chicken…
Hi there.
I would recommend heating the grill up to 350°F to 400°F when using the rotisserie for doing whole chickens.
Check out this page for more pointers on using your rotisserie! Using your Napoleon Rotisserie There is even a downloadable PDF you can print too!
So happy that you are enjoying the grill!
Happy Grilling!
It isn’t clear what burners you are using. Is it the rear infrared burner, or the main burners at the bottom? How do you preheat the grill?
Hi there Jim!
You want to use the rear burner when you’re using the rotisserie. You get a great crispy outside and beautifully tender inside.
