Bacon. It is delicious and fragrant. It is versatile and useful. Bacon can go in, on, or around almost anything. But, sadly, the bacon we purchase from the local grocery store is full of water, it’s soggy and wet, and full of other things best not discussed. Then there is the super special prime bacon, lovingly hand sliced by your local butcher, it only costs an arm and a leg. Well. Not any more. Make your own bacon with this recipe!
Also, notice all the recipes that have been posted before, almost every one that contains bacon, uses the bacon from this recipe.
METHOD
Yes you can buy almost anything, but what is more satisfying than making your own? I have such a sense of pride when I create something that I would have typically purchased from a market. A glowing “wow I did that,” feeling.
What have you made that gives you that feeling?

These burgers were delicious. The heat from the Luther’s Sheep Dip was balanced nicely by the creamy cheese, the pork sings with the sweetness of the grilled vegetables.

It really is rare to find skillful individuals within this issue, but you be understood as you no doubt know what you are sharing! Thanks a lot
Yeah… if you like pork and bacon as much as I do you will absolutely LOVE this recipe.
Our first attempt didn’t have so much of a fatty/bacon like flavour. We think this was because the meat hadn’t had enough time to marinate and the plank hadn’t soaked long enough. But it was still delicious!
Our second attempt had much more time to soak and absorb and… just, wow. The JUICE that came off this thing was mouth-watering enough. I wanted to drink it. Not kidding, but my friend was all worried about my arteries.
We were blown away by how tasty this was. This is not just bacon, it’s main-course meat.
Your arilcte perfectly shows what I needed to know, thanks!
