Good day to you my hungry readers! A roast chicken is delicious, it’s super easy to make on the grill using your Rotisserie Kit, or using the Beer Can Chicken Roaster. But imagine, if you will, a golden chicken, smoked to perfection, moist and succulent, just falling off the bone and begging to be eaten by yourself and whoever you wish to share it with. Made this chicken on the smoker and boy was it ever worth the wait. We had people wandering by like zombies, just sniffing the air and following the scent! Did I mention that the recipe is actually super easy too? I know that there’s a lot of ingredients, but it’s all about prep.
This chicken is amazing. It was juicy and a great addition to a lunch, easy for a chicken sandwich or tossed into a salad. If you’re making it for saving, like Pulled Pork, remember to pull it off the bone and seal in an airtight container for freezing. Next time I think I will make more than one so that we have lots for a rainy day. And by rainy day I mean, a day that I haven’t gone grocery shopping and don’t have anything in the house to cook, ’cause come on people, rain is no excuse not to grill!
I would like to thank my awesome friend Kelly for the photos. I tell you, it is handy to have an extra pair of hands in the kitchen, especially when you’re taking photos of the work you are doing. I mean, I am covered in apple and onion and oil and garlic and bird and need to take a photo?
