Thanksgiving is here for us Canadians. And this recipe could be helpful to those not celebrating Thanksgiving yet. For a change I thought I would do a Glazed Ham instead of the traditional turkey. Ham is also a less expensive alternative to a turkey too. I must say, this came together in a snap. It was super quick and a real hit with the family. On Tuesday night I called up my mother and asked if she wanted to have an impromptu Thanksgiving dinner. She said sure! I had a ham, threw together the glaze and brought the cauliflower. She provided the scalloped potatoes and we had a family dinner in less than an hour and a half!
Like I said. This whole meal was impromptu. Really it came together in the time it took to cook the ham through. We let everyone know and ended up having 7 people there for dinner! It was fantastic! Have you ever had a surprise family gathering like that? What did you cook? How did it turn out? Tell us in the comments below.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving! And…
