I’ve made pulled pork before on the blog. It was amazing. But this. THIS! This was phenomenal. There is little prep-work that needs to be done for the days leading up to the smoking. Literally I rubbed it down with a combo of spices and set it on the smoker. I let it be for the most part, just spraying it with apple juice every hour or so and adding more wood chips. The end result was beyond what I could imagine. This pulled pork is succulent and tender. It was all we could do not to eat it all as we shredded it.
I don’t know what else I can say about this. Really, you have to make it to believe. I cannot wait to try this in other recipes. But what should I make? Pulled Pork Poutine, Pulled Pork Pasta, Pulled Pork Quesadillas? What would you like to try?
