OH no! The niece and nephew are coming for a visit, but its too hot to bake inside. Whatever shall I do? There is no end to things you can bake on a grill, and these chocolate chip cookies are a prime example of that fact. Not to mention delicious. Sounds crazy doesn’t it? And when I tell my nephew where I baked his cookies, he stares at me with wondering eyes and says, “Like where hamburgers come from? WOW, that’s amazing!”
Quite obviously the nuts are optional, many children now-a-days are allergic.
What a huge success! The visit was punctuated by my nephew running up and telling us how the cookies were made on the barbecue just like a hamburger and hot dog. He just couldn’t believe that something so neat had happened. These cookies are great and the recipe can most certainly be done indoors if you lack a grill. What is your signature cookie recipe? Would you try it on the grill?
