Honeyed Pork Chops With Pecans

Honeyed Pork Chops With Pecans

Served on a bed of mashed sweet potato

Posted on January 20, 2015
Honeyed Pork Chops With Pecans rest on a pillow of mashed sweet potatoes, the sauce means that you need nothing but salt on those potatoes, and the meal is just perfect. So perfect that when I finished photographing my meal, the Baron of Baking had already finished eating. And the leftovers the next day? Heavenly!

I mean, Scalloped Potatoes are already a near perfect dish with the cheese and sauce and potatoes all baked into some sort of heavenly feast. Then you go and add your favorite fixings for Baked Potatoes, bacon, chives, garlic, and sour cream. Stick that in your grill and bake it! I mean it! You have to try these potatoes!

Smoked Beef Brisket

Smoked Beef Brisket

Tender, smokey, delicious.

Posted on January 13, 2015
I've been meaning to... itching to - smoke a beef brisket ever since I discovered the smoker. But time, availability of meat, and life itself seemed to get in the way. Yes I know. I can get aligator and bison, but I can't find a blinkin' brisket?!  Well I got my hands on one, and after 10 hours of smoking, it was still a little rare, but oh so delicious.

Ghost Pepper Buffalo Sauce

Ghost Pepper Buffalo Sauce

Very Tasty And Hot

Posted on January 08, 2015
It's time for my annual hot sauce, and this year I made Ghost Pepper Buffalo Sauce for all those hot heads that love my cooking. It began that I was going to just make homemade Buffalo Sauce for my favorite people over the holidays, but my cousin requested that I make more of that Ghost Pepper Salsa for the family Christmas dinner. How could I refuse? It turned out that I had a few ghost peppers left over and thought... well why the heck not?

Chive And Goat's Cheese Smashed Potatoes

Chive And Goat's Cheese Smashed Potatoes

Pretty Much The Best Mashed Potatoes Ever

Posted on December 16, 2014
Chive And Goat's Cheese Smashed Potatoes are super yummy. Forget adding just the right amount of sour cream and milk and cream cheese, and whatever else you love in your mashed potatoes, these ones need just a couple of ingredients to make the most perfect and creamy Smashed Potatoes ever. These were gone, like seriously gone, cartoonishly - spoon spinning in the bowl because they were eaten so fast - gone. You may want to make extra.

Chocolate Christmas Bark

Chocolate Christmas Bark

It's really called Christmas Crack

Posted on December 16, 2014
Chocolate Christmas Bark, I've made 3 batches in 2 days, it's that popular. It's also known as Christmas Crack because it flies off the plate, sells out instantly at bake sales, and disappears at pot lucks. Be sure that you're wearing riot gear and have snuck a stash for yourself before bringing this out over the holidays.

Roasted Acorn Squash is a simple and elegant way to prepare a vegetable side for your holiday meals. It's tasty and stylish. The bright colors compliment just about anything you serve, brightening up the meal. They're a seasonal ingredient, and should be a lot easier to find in your local grocery too.
