There is something to be said about certain foods providing comfort when you’re not feeling up to it. This mushroom soup is a great example of how something can just make you feel good. The rich broth shines and the meaty mushrooms fill you with a sense of warmth. Or just serve it up as soon as it is ready, especially with a nice grilled cheese sandwich, or some fresh bread and butter. This is also a great ”make it and freeze it” meal for one or the whole family.
Mushroom soup may not be your particular comfort food, maybe you like something else, like Chicken Soup, but one thing is for sure. Some foods make you feel good, and when you’ve made them yourself, they feel even better. What is your favourite comfort food? Leave a message in the comments below and tell me!
