Good day to you all! I hope that you had a good weekend. I sure did! In fact I got to pamper myself in the big city with my sister this weekend. I happened to become inspired by the experiences this weekend. Particularly the spa.
After a wonderful massage, I had a pedicure with a sweet sugary exfoliant. Naturally, food never being far from my mind, I began thinking of a way to bring these spa experiences into a dish. When I got home I immediately pulled the ingredients for a lovely pork tenderloin with the spa in mind.
This was really enjoyable. There was no flipping or worry about the sugar burning as it was roasted instead of cooked directly on the grids. I was particularly happy with the slight charring on the top of the pork. It had a nice crispness. If you want added sweetness I would recommend basting with apple juice or watered down maple syrup.
