Fill the pitcher with water.
Place the tea bags into the water. Place lid onto pitcher or cover it with plastic wrap.
Set the pitcher in a sunny spot where it can steep in direct sunlight for 3 to 5 hours. Let it steep for a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 5.
When your tea has steeped, you may remove the tea bags if you like. Add sugar and fruit or lemon juice and wedges to flavour the tea to your preference. Stir well.
Store, refrigerated, for up to 3 days.
