Just another way to use the pulled pork that you smoked. This recipe is really simple and very tasty. If whoever is eating this doesn’t know that you stuffed the breasts with the pork, it’s quite the surprise. What food have you surprised someone with? How did they react? You guys have been great at not spilling about the new TravelQ™! I used Larry (my new TravelQ’s name) to make these chicken breasts. I surprised the Baron of Baking by stuffing them with my delicious pulled pork. I used one burner for direct grilling, then moved the breasts over to the other side to finish them off by grill-baking them while he made the salad. Here are some more sneak peaks of the new grill.

Grilled Chicken Breasts

Serves: 4       Total Time: 25


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ½ lb. of pulled pork, approx. ⅓ cup for each breast
  • Bone Dust
  • salad or something light for serving
  • 4 to 8 toothpicks that have been soaked in water


Step 1
Carefully slice a pocket into the top of the chicken breasts using a very sharp knife. You want to try and create a pocket that is as deep as the chicken and almost the same width. Leave a ½-inch on the sides to keep the chicken from falling apart when you stuff them.
Step 2
Stuff each chicken breast with as much pulled pork as it can take. If you haven’t sauced the pork, do so before stuffing. If you sauced the pork before storage, add a little extra sauce. It’s worth it.
Step 3
Close the top of the chicken breasts with a toothpick or two to make sure none of the porky goodness gets out.
Step 4
Season the chicken on all sides with Bone Dust.
Step 5
Grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side over direct heat. Because you basically cut the chicken in half and then stuffed it with cooked pulled pork, it won’t take as long to cook. If the pork is not hot all the way through when the chicken is cooked, move the chicken breasts over to indirect heat and grill-bake for 5 to 10 minutes longer.
Step 6
Serve the chicken with something lighter to go with it like a green salad. You can also serve with some warmed pulled pork sauce for added sauciness.
I've said it before and I will say it again. Stuffing food in other food is really tasty. These Grilled Chicken Breasts have been stuffed with Pulled Pork to create a juicy and saucy meal. Keep the chicken simple by just using a dry rub, leaving the craziness to the inside of the chicken.
