A Quick and Easy Meal

With the weather as nice as it was, this was a fantastic way to spend an evening. Eating boneless ribs in the sun with friends, nothing could have made that better. This meal, like I said, came together quite fast and left me with time to spend just relaxing. I used Maple Bacon Barbecue Sauce for these. Seriously the best sauce ever. I make it in double batches just to have lots extra. What is your favourite sauce for ribs?

Will you believe that this was my first time eating outside this year? Well it was. But we made it worth it. The pork was sweet and garlicky, the pan sauce had a tang to it from the ginger, all was offset beautifully by the potatoes. All in all a lovely meal. I hope that you enjoy making and eating it as much as I did!

I had just finished the photos for this when my phone rang, so I didn’t get to take a bite of these little gems until much later. Let me tell you, the flavour explosion was just incredible! I let out the loudest “MHHHHH”, and my tongue got all tingly, I think my eyes even rolled back! I am usually a ketchup and other traditional condiments kinda gal, but the feta was creamy and the tomatoes, I let them marinate a little with some salt and pepper, was soooooo nice.

This was absolutely delicious. The veal was cooked perfectly. The marinade left a lovely crust where it caramelized, and the meat had a delicate flavour that hinted at steak, but the citrus from the marinade gave it a sweeter cast. This is certainly going to be made again. I am also going to give the sauce and marinade a try on fish and chicken too. Now don’t get me wrong. Veal is not something that you can get every day. This meal was a tad on the expensive side, but definitely a lot less expensive than going to a restaurant for the same thing. The three 1 inch thick chops were $41.o0 CAD. We purchased them from a fantastic butcher who sliced them fresh that very moment. If you were to go to the Keg or Houstons, the same meal for one person would have cost approximately the same.

This cheesecake is incredible. It will certainly please even the pickiest cheesecake connoisseurs. Serve it with some fresh berries and you have a match made in cheesecake-heaven. What is your favourite flavour of cheesecake?

This is an amazing treat! I cannot describe how delicious these are. You can make them ahead of time and pop them onto the grill, or you can have a little bar set up and people can dress their own pizzas. Either way you have just made everyone’s day with these little morsels of heaven.

Yep. 3 racks of ribs, wings and beer for 6 people. I filled a 16 inch long plate with ribs. Everyone loved them. It was really funny. I was using my Freestyle Portable Grill, and didn't actually have the room for all the ribs at once, so they came in shifts, each flavour was enjoyed better than the last! We had Charred Chipotle, Jamin' Jerk, and Maple Bacon. Which is your favourite flavour of ribs?
