Orange Chicken

Orange Chicken

In The Napoleon Grill Wok

Posted on January 27, 2016
I’ve been on an Asian cuisine kick for a week or so, and when I got my hands on Napoleon's new Stainless Steel Wok for the grill, I had to make some Orange Chicken. This bright and citrusy meal is tasty and pairs well with steamed rice. Make this instead of getting takeout and you won’t be disappointed.

Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers

Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers

Sweet and Crunchy

Posted on January 13, 2016
Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers, there's a story behind this one. I have been a very lucky person. When I was younger, my father took me to Europe. We stayed in Paris for a couple of days before going to Euro Disney and then London via the Chunnel. While in Paris, we ate at a Planet Hollywood. I was horrified to see the chicken fingers, my go to meal was breaded with Captain Crunch, my all time favorite cereal. Back then I was picky. I have learned much since then. Ever since then, I have had that thought pop into my head periodically. Could I? Should I? Well I finally did it. I finally had enough bravery to give it a try. This recipe, these Chicken Fingers... Are. Just. Amazing.

Lemon Rosemary Chicken

With Honey Basil Carrots

I made Easter Dinner last week so that you were good and prepared. But it also happened to be Passover on April the 3rd of 2015. As a food blogger, I feel that it's my duty to make food that represents all people and cultures, and pay respect to the food they eat and why it's eaten. I made this Lemon Rosemary Chicken With Honey Basil Roast Carrots for Passover, and hopefully I did this right.

Now I was supposed to make a roasted chicken for this meal, however when I opened the packaging, I discovered that my beautiful, properly prepared, kosher, organic, chicken had gone rancid! Such as the case, we had to improvise. Lucky for us, there were some chicken breasts in the freezer. I can't guarantee that they were prepared in the proper fashion, but we made do with what we had. The rest of the meal I was careful. I did not mix dairy with meat at all, nor did I incorporate flour or leavening agents into the meal. So all in all, aside from the chicken and my camera battery dying, I believe this was a success.

Peanut Butter Barbecue Sauce

Peanut Butter Barbecue Sauce

With Grilled Chicken Legs

Posted on September 08, 2014

Happy National Peanut Day everyone. Well actually it's September 13th... BUT I had to celebrate and share with you! Instead of doing something Thai with a peanut sauce, or a delightful dessert, I opted to do something slightly unexpected. I made a peanut butter laced barbecue sauce. Was it ever delicious! Creamy. Slightly spicy, and definitely a little sweet. You gotta try this on your next meal with chicken.

Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings

Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings

Spicy, Sweet, And Sticky

Posted on August 24, 2014
I love cooking for other people, having something there for when they come by. Something that can be enjoyed whether we're watching a sporting event or enjoying a fantastic television show. These Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings really fit the bill when it comes to entertainment food. They're so sticky and delicious. Then you get this kick of heat that nearly surprises you. Don't forget to bust out those wet naps, 'cause you're going to need them for this appetizing appetizer.
