Crispy Potato Galette

Crispy Potato Galette

Your Potatoes Will Never Be The Same

Posted on April 07, 2015
Crispy Potato Galette is like crunchy potato heaven. A delicious pie of crispy potatoes. It's like nothing I have ever had. And I think this may be the only way I prepare potatoes forevermore. Can you tell I enjoyed it? Are you sure? Yes, I thought that it was strange that this recipe is named like a razor, but the only thing this recipe is cutting is your preconceptions of what a potato side dish could be. I took it a little easy on the flavors, opting for salt and pepper and a little fresh rosemary basically, and what we got in return was pure awesome. Go ahead, try this for yourself! Right now! I mean it! I say that a lot don't I? What can I say? I love food.

Flourless Apple Crisp

Flourless Apple Crisp

With Cranberries And Pecans

Posted on April 07, 2015
Flourless Apple Crisp With Cranberries And Pecans is the perfect end to any meal. This recipe is gluten free if you ensure that you have procured certified gluten free oats. And the best part is that you can pretty much put any kind of oats you have in there too, steel cut, quick cooking, whole, you name it. The sweetness of the apples and the tartness of the cranberries is all you need, and this Flourless Apple Crisp makes for a light and tasty end to a good meal. Or you could eat it for breakfast.

Creamy, Crunchy Scalloped Potatoes

Creamy, Crunchy Scalloped Potatoes

Creamy, Crunchy Scalloped Potatoes

Posted on March 31, 2015
Creamy, Crunchy Scalloped Potatoes feature the best of both worlds when it comes to texture. Then there's the flavor. You won't get this kind of awesome from a box. No sir! It may take a little prep work but this side dish is completely worth the added labor. Although, getting into that box of "scalloped potatoes" that's been in your pantry for who knows how long is really a lot of work. This recipe is far easier than trying to stick your thumb through that "perforated" top. And when you can't do that you resort to using a knife, which works, but you stab the packet with the flavor powder in it. The powder goes everywhere and you have the dog licking at the floor and you haven't even gotten to the cooking part yet. Naw, go the route of home made and save yourself the hassle. Plus you get all the flavor!

Cadbury Cream Egg Brownies

Cadbury Cream Egg Brownies

Fudgy, Rich, Chocolatey, Easter Heaven

Posted on March 31, 2015
Cadbury Cream Egg Brownies. What more is there to say about that? Okay well the fact that they're gooey and rich, featuring the epitome of the coveted easter candies to make something that is already one of the best things on earth just that much better. Imagine yourself biting into a dense, fudgy brownie and your teeth sink through a layer of milk chocolate that reveals a hidden gem of creamy egg middle-ness that drips onto your chin!  ...I may be a little passionate about these brownies. Which, I should mention, are perfect for easter dessert.

Skillet Baked Red Wine Steak

Skillet Baked Red Wine Steak

With Exotic Mushrooms And Asparagus

Posted on March 03, 2015
As a grill blogger, I tend to feed the people in the office when I am not feeding my husband. People tend to share the joy by sharing their favorite recipes with me. This is one such recipe. My friend Jeffrey sent me an email with this recipe nestled inside, and I must say that this Skillet Baked Red Wine Steak was so good, I accidentally only got one good shot of it... on my second time making it. Thanks for the amazing recipe Jeffrey!

Buttery Coconut Blondies

Buttery Coconut Blondies

Stuffed With Nutella

Posted on March 03, 2015
I saw a photo on Facebook. It was posted by a friend, who liked it from somewhere else etc. But there it was a giant gooey square of delight, I think the article said Stuffed Blondies, or something like that. From there I built this recipe for Buttery Coconut Blondies Stuffed With Nutella. How can I even describe these? They're square, they're yummy, they're not brownies. Yep.

Thai Chili Guacamole

Thai Chili Guacamole

And Creamy Garlic Queso

Posted on February 24, 2015
Thai Chili Guacamole And Creamy Garlic Queso are essential to a good plate of nachos. Let me tell you, sure my first Guacamole recipe was pretty darn good, but this one? This one is THE one. You won't just have people devouring it, you will have them battling with nacho chips being used as swords. And the Queso? I thought the Buffalo Chicken Queso was good, but this... well let's just say that a dish for 6 was being licked clean by 3 and a half people within 45 minutes.

Chocolate Christmas Bark

Chocolate Christmas Bark

It's really called Christmas Crack

Posted on December 16, 2014
Chocolate Christmas Bark, I've made 3 batches in 2 days, it's that popular. It's also known as Christmas Crack because it flies off the plate, sells out instantly at bake sales, and disappears at pot lucks. Be sure that you're wearing riot gear and have snuck a stash for yourself before bringing this out over the holidays.
