Barrie, Ontario, August, 2011 – More homes will be warmed this winter thanks to a donation of 50 furnaces by Napoleon Heating & Cooling to Habitat for Humanity Canada.
The donation, worth $100,000, ties into Napoleon’s launch of the only gas furnace designed and manufactured in Canada – the 9600 High Efficient Gas Furnace line.
“We are honoured to support the remarkable work that Habitat for Humanity Canada does for people in need,” said David Coulson of Napoleon Heating & Cooling. “We hope that this donation will make a real difference in people’s lives this fall and winter.”
Napoleon will present the donation to Habitat for Humanity at its launch event on Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
“We are very excited to partner with Napoleon Heating & Cooling in 2011,” says Stewart Hardacre, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada. “Through their generous donation of product, Napoleon is demonstrating that they are committed to helping Habitat for Humanity Canada build safer, stronger, and more sustainable communities across the country. We are proud to work together to help build and sell affordable housing to families in need.”
The 9600 Series two-stage furnace is the newest HVAC in town that’s built exclusively in Canada and is designed to stand up against even the coldest nights the Great White North sends its way.
